A Scuderia Ferrari-inspired scooter will certainly stand out in the paddock

Autofun PhilippinesWhen you think of Ferrari, your mind automatically turns to a world filled with red, high-speed cars and all sorts of weird things, but never a scooter. After all, scooters are (mostly) just simple machines that get you from point A to point B in ergonomic comfort, unlike any other from the Italian brand. But that perception is challenged with a one-of-a-kind Scuderia Ferrari scooter unlike anything else on the road. And we will introduce details including Yamaha Nmax price Philippines below.

The Scuderia Ferrari scooter is built on the Yamaha NMax 155

Before the Italian automaker slams us for calling it a Ferrari scooter, let’s take it easy. The Scuderia Ferrari scooter you see here is actually a Yamaha NMax 155 wrapped in a unique body kit provided by Yamaha SBW. The body kit is inspired by Ferrari’s F1 race car and features a dramatic red/black color scheme that contrasts with the surrounding zebra stripes.

At the top, the scooter has a Predator-like headlight cap (in the movies, ie) combined with side panels, a powerful front fender and, dare I say, Ferrari-style mirrors. Interestingly, the side panels also feature aerodynamic cutouts near the scooter’s wide legroom, which enhances the overall attention to detail.

A similar treatment is performed on the opposite end, with tempered side panels and exaggerated red exhaust caps. Bringing together all the styling inspired by Ferrari, the padded passenger backrest and upper smoke cover.

The Ferrari scooter is just a surface job

The scooter is essentially a Yamaha NMax 155 with a sleek Ferrari body kit.

In addition to the body, the Yamaha NMax 155 remains the same. The car uses a 155 cc single-cylinder engine, with a capacity of 15.1 horsepower transmitted to the flywheel through an automatic transmission. Yamaha has equipped the maxi scooter with a lot of features including traction control, LED lighting, keyless start, stop-start system, charging port and LCD instrument panel with smartphone connection.

The set of 13-inch alloy wheels is pressed with hydraulic disc brakes at both ends and weighs in at 288 pounds. Add to that a 765mm seat height and the NMax is perfect for city commutes. Sadly, Yamaha didn’t release the NMax 155 in the US, even though it has a lot of potential for good business, especially at the sub-$4,000 price point. If you want a Team Blue scooter, we recommend you take a look at the Yamaha XMax 300cc.
