MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) in China is currently a major trend for international students due to its low cost, peaceful and beautiful surroundings, advanced infrastructure, English language teaching, and above all because China is one of the fastest developing countries in the world, attracting more international students.
China’s reforms and open doors have led to an increase in the number of international students coming to China. According to the Ministry of Education, the number of foreign students coming to Study MBBS in China has increased by more than 20% since 2000.
There are several reasons for this. Firstly, with the development of the Chinese economy, large companies, and corporations from all over the world are gradually entering China, making it necessary to promote the international mobility of professionals for economic development and exchange.
Secondly, Chinese society has become more open and foreign students have more opportunities to highlight their skills.
Thirdly, China’s excellent culture is very attractive to many foreigners.
Fourth, Asia’s excellent educational infrastructure, which is highly valued in technology, engineering, and medicine, can be taught in English, and increasingly Chinese universities are offering English courses to their students.
Fifth, most Chinese medical schools are recognized in the World Health Organization’s list of medical schools. This means that students from such Chinese medical schools are eligible to sit for several examinations, including the USMLE, PLAB, and the recently introduced “screening examinations” organized by the Pakistani National Board of Medical Examiners under the supervision of the Pakistani Medical Council.

Since the end of the Second World War, dentistry has changed dramatically, not only in terms of clinical and mechanical advances but also in terms of the perception of the care provided by dentists. Today’s dentists would be surprised at the difference between their training and that of 1946.
China’s dental education system has also changed dramatically over the past 30 years. The Chinese dental education curriculum emphasizes oral pathology, dentistry, and oral surgery, and several international approaches have been used to revise the dental education curriculum.
China is in East Asia and has a population of over 1.3 billion people. There are more than 50 dental schools in China, and high school students are admitted based on a national examination. After four years of dental education, they can become qualified dentists. Graduates must pass a national exam to practice as a dentist.
